For many years growing up I have watched many expressions of art from various parts of the world. I have seen many performances and I often wondered who was the artist or designer; sometimes I wondered why the artist or designer created or designed a certain master piece or a work of art. On this beautiful twin island I call home; Trinidad and Tobago, I have experienced and seen many art forms. Many times I am left amazed and sometimes in awe! As a child growing up, I loved listening and hearing stories from those that have been around much longer than me. In art and design there is a story behind every piece we see or experience, and it is sometimes great to know our artist and or designer, which is my belief! The sole intention of this blog is to highlight the life, the work and the journey of the many different artist and designers of Trinidad and Tobago.
I plan to interview many different artist and designers who have worked and still work in the different expressions of art and designs on this beautiful twin island of Trinidad and Tobago. I plan to share my findings and understanding of the artists and designers life, work and or journey. Each week I plan to publish on this blog at least two to three times. Each story will be different, because each artist and designer is different! Each person experience(s) will be different, but their views maybe similar!
I plan to cover stories of many artist and designers in the field, such as:
1. Visual Arts
2. Performing Arts
3. Culinary Arts
All the work that will be publish on this blog, will be from person that are in the art industry or striving artist or designers on this twin island of Trinidad and Tobago.
